Why people hate b2st
Recently I have been watching some clips from Book of Circus and have been reading some of the comments. A trend that I have been seeing is some fans commenting their hatred towards the lion tamer Beast. Which out of all the characters I don't get.
It seems that the main reason that some fans hate her is either because "she is a slut" or for having an affair with Sebastian. For the first reason of "she is a slut" I feel is completely untrue. While she did have an affair with one person in the series I will get back to that I feel she isn't a slut.
She turned down Dagger on multiple occasions and seemed to only love Joker. Even then she never tried to be lustful towards him or even force him to love her back. As for the clothes she wears while can be a bit revealing it doesn't automatically make her a slut. Besides it is hinted that Kelvin picked out some of the member's outfits so she probably didn't have much of a choice anyway.
Even if she was a slut is that enough for so many fans to completely hate her? Another common reason I see why fans hate Beast is because of the Sebastian affair. Which I feel like it is more out of jealousy fron the fans who wish it was them or whoever they ship with Sebastian instead. However, I feel most fans forget that most of the scenes with Beast and Sebastian beforehand she clearly showed no interest in him and he only did it to get information. In any case I feel fans should be more mad at Sebastian than Beast since he was the one who manipulated her into doing it while he could had come up with another way to get the info that he needed and this is coming from someone who loves Sebastian.
While Beast isn't my favorite character, she is nowhere near my most hated. If you have another reason for hating her or if you truly hate her for the two reasons above I understand that it is your opinion that I can't change. So what do you think. Did I change your opinion about Beast? Ow, my Grimlock fallen and can't get up! It was different than what people expected it to be. Cast in the name of Death, ye not living. User Info: emagdnE. I wouldn't call Beast Machines BAD, but I wouldn't call it good neither if you want to find out the ultimate fate of the Maximals and Cybertron, it wouldn't hurt to watch, but it's pretty underwhelming however, it should be said that for the most part, the character changes that are often complained about do make sense given the situation the characters were now in, and that they were forced to adapt, but there are still out of character moments mainly at the end of episode 6 P.
Grimlock would just step on Dinobot and has more character than him pre-movie Grimlock is my third favorite G1 character, and I'd just like to say All right, give me the bomb. I think most of the "hate" for Beast Machines is because it didn't really live up to people's expectations being the sequel to Beast Wars which is argued by many to be one of the best Transformers series period.
From what I remember of it, beast machines has its moments, but it just wasn't as enjoyable overall as Beast Wars was for me. Grimlock could just shoot dinobot with his missile launcher or eyes. He could swallow him whole too.
User Info: Nintendological. Beast Machines was off to a bad start when Megatron held dominion over Cybertron and the remaining Maximals could no longer transform. Having old allies exist as mindless drones was also a bad move. The show simply had too many immediate missteps and few returning cast members etc.
People don't want Transformers canon being that dark and seemingly hopeless. Also, fans get attached to characters. Killing off fan favorites so you can sell new toys or rebrand existing figures is a poor strategy. For the sake of continuity, watching Beast Machines is justifiable. As a program watched purely for entertainment, it has the potential to become an unenjoyable experience. It really was an unnecessary route.
The entire series can be summed up as tons of betrayal, plenty of missing characters and killing of characters. Beast Machines manages to edge out the G1 movie, if only for the fact that the G1 movie at least offered a well remembered soumdtrack while it undermined everything that fans came to love.
Beast Machines doesn't even leave you with that much of a legacy. User Info: Amakusa. Nintendological posted And you don't think Beast Wars was run on its toys? Do you really think everyone liked what happened to certain characters? Beast Wars season 2 and 3 spoilers. I would have gladly traded Waspinator for Terrorsaur.
Or even Scorponok. I hate Waspinator. Don't believe for a second getting rid of Tigatron, Airazor, Terrorsaur, and Scorponok was anything other than moving out old toys in favor of new ones.
