I have a lot of mental hunger and restriced a lot in my mind. I desperately need help as I am very confused and mentally drained from all of this thinking about food and obsessions. I developed an eating disorder, but was never technically underweight.
However, my period stopped I am on a hormonal therapy for that now. I am not sure, but I may have been a little underweight with a weight of under 48,6 kg, which is BMI under I really want to recover and stop thinking about food and if I am eating too much and what I am eating. My hunger signals are pretty messed up and I can go on without feeling hunger for over 8 hours after breakfast which I usually am not hungry for either, but eat it anyway.

The appetite will be suppressed when you are restricting and you need to eat at least to those minimum caloric requirements to restore normal hunger cues. Hi Hayley! Your body will find its best weight for itself and I or nobody can say exactly where it will land, or if there will be overshoot that is healthy and necessary. I have a bmi of Hi, its hard to believe treatment would tell you that extreme low BMI is healthy and normal and you dont need to gain more but if its true then the advice of that treatment is very dangerous. At like x cals for 5-ish months then very slowly increased. Is it because i eat a lot of fruit?
