Should i buy forza motorsport 4

I bought it 3 months ago and I a hooked. Disclaimer - I am not diehard gamer so I am not a purist by any means. But this game is super fun.

There are almost too many cars to choose from and with the availability of great tunes, with a little practice you can be competing rather quickly.

Honestly, the toughest part is deciding which car you want to play with. It like a Cheesecake Factory menu. I would buy it. I have absolutely gotten my money's worth. I've decided to get an X within the next couple or months just to play FH4.

Get FH3 instead as it is better. Rank: Racing Permit. Email this topic Watch this topic Print this topic. Rank: B-Class Racing License 4 users liked this post. A bit of a tangent, but what's the source for this? I've heard rumors that PG might be working on a new Fable game, and was wondering if this new hiring would support that rumor or not. Back to the topic of the OP, it is going to be awhile before FH5 comes out, so the next time FH4 goes on sale will be a good time to buy it.

Also consider FH3 if you haven't played it. Rank: A-Class Racing License 4 users liked this post. What an interesting observation. I have been trying not all that hard actually to figure out why I love Horizon 1 so much more than the others, and have liked each successive version less and less. I think you have hit the nail on the head. I very much like the car selection, the routes and the scenery in Horizon 4, but the gimmicky Fortnite emphasis in this game, especially the prancing, dancing and clothes, continues to be a major distraction for me.

I can't say any of the new features in FH4 did much to push the franchise further apart from the route creator and the wheel paint. Even the seasons divide the community, with most hating winter. I personally like the seasons but I'm in the minority. Judging from the recent updates it feels as if the team does not "want" to work on Forza Horizon anymore, at least not in the way it was originally conceived, that is, Forza on the open road.

Why would the studio start to work on something radically different and completely outside their area of expertise RPG? They can build great worlds but RPG genre is more than that, it needs a good story, and FH stories are below average so far. Not only can you choose how smart the AI cars are, but you can limit the upgrades to the cars they drive. This does come with a penalty, though; the easier you make races, the less you earn.

Each time you reach a new driver XP level up to level 50, you'll be offered a choice of reward cars instead of just being awarded one, which I think is a pretty neat touch. In Forza 3 , players maxed out at level 50, but now the game goes up to , with large credit bonuses from Level 51 onwards, so players with a compulsion to complete the game will find it takes significantly longer.

All of this means you don't really need to spend much time building up a stable of cars unless you particularly want to. Should you have your heart set on one of the more expensive cars in the game I'm still nearly 2 million credits shy of a McLaren F1 you can even skip the grind by spending Microsoft points to buy car tokens.

Even the most expensive car will only cost you three tokens. Sadly at the time of writing, it's not yet possible to purchase tokens, so right now it's a race to see if I get to 3 million credits before October Overall, Career mode offers a rich gameplay experience that should keep you busy for a while.

According to my stats, I've spend just over four and a half hours driving time don't worry, I've spent much longer with game in total across 62 races. Despite reaching level 26, I've only completed 2. As you can see, I've got some way to go!
