Pretty sure I just using his standard Mugshot and hoped for the best. I think I was done in less than an hour. Saying that, I remember I did something which involved grinding gold glims so maybe it was this.

Either way, less then an hour isn't much considering how much time I had already invested into the game — musefan. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes. My most successful gameplan was: Use Marcassin, Oliver, and Swaine Equip Marcassin with the weakest wand in your possession Set everyone to do nothing in tactics Fight the enemies listed above even if their world avatar isn't the gold encounter If you don't get the ecounter with a gold, kill everything with Oliver's Astra spell If you do get the encounter with a gold, use Marcassin's pulse to kill other enemies and then the gold encounter.

Hopefully in the course of this one of the enemies will drop a gold glim. Switch to swaine take the glim and use his light fingers on the gold encounter If you don't get a gold glim at least try Swaine's mugshot on the gold encounter before you kill him. I farmed 10 kaleidostones and this happened to me twice. Although I'm not sure why people name drops and steals different things - as far as I know, you can steal every drop from every monster and there doesn't seem to be any steal that cannot be dropped. Kaleidostones seem to be the fastest and easiest ones of the rare drops troll tears, scrolls of truth, all-swing eyes.

Here's how I farmed 10 in about 45 minutes total: go to the final checkpoint in glittering grotto. Cast veil and run in big circles using jump stones and hidden passage , fighting every monster group.

If there is no Bedraggle, one-shot them with Earsplitter works faster than escaping, gives money, xp and glims. If there is one, switch to Oliver and cast thunderstorm twice. Every enemy dies, Bedraggle is at a small sliver of health.

This may or may not be related, but near-death stealing seems to give rarer items. Btw you can steal from monster with hearts in taming mode, works good, too. Switch to Swaine and use Mugshot. Do not use gold glims if any - it steals a worthless magical sword the game thinks it's good if you use auto-equip but it sucks. User Info: Glamador. LeonidVas posted Don't listen to this guy.

DO use Golden Glims on Bedraggles. He also neglects to mention which wand he has equipped to cast 'exactly 2 thunderstorms' and you don't want to accidentally kill it without having at chance a steal attempt.

Near-death enemies do NOT have higher steal chances. This is self-delusion. Swap to Swaine, use the Glim on Bedraggles not Dragamuffins and then kill it.

Do a regular old Mugshot, as you still have a decent chance at stealing it that way. And as suggested, DO fight the Dragamuffins since their rare drop not steal is good as well.

Just don't bother using Golden Glims on them. User Info: carl Pretty sure there are only 2 steal items per monster, but most monsters can drop 3 items. User Info: quakernautic2.

You only need to farm 3 kaleidostones for the mad scientist trophy Pokemon X - FC - - Good soil and plenty of sunlight. Oh, and the Grotto, as others have said. The bisexuals historically got it from all directions.
